These days a wedding cake simply doesn’t, pardon the pun, cut it. You need an avalanche of incredibly cute cupcakes to start a wedding dinner on a (very) sweet note. Quite brilliant as I often complained of not getting a piece of the wedding cake.

More on me baby brother’s wedding later. Am still recuperating from all the feasting.

Am not an iPhone application whore but I app-solutely love this one. It takes lomo-like pictures which you can preview, and you can have it as an instant digital format, as opposed to not really knowing how the photo will turn out till it’s developed.

Having said that, nothing beats the real stuff. Not having the perfect picture is exactly what keeps the lo-fi enthusiast going!

That were not made by meself. I’ve always admired the patience of these cake decorators, and how intricate they can be. My cupcakes are always almost naked and undressed, partly because I’m not a big fan of coloring and sugar paste either.

Nevertheless these were a delightful sight to behold!

My first medium format toy camera! I will post up the pics once they are developed. Probably only 0.5% of them will turn out visible because I forgot about the film format and kept taking indoor shots. Bleah!
Then again I give thanks everyday that I can remember my own name, let alone nitty gritty stuff like film formats.
